It's a Wrap for 2021!
On Saturday 10 July, Footy Stars laced up their boots enjoyed their final skills session and grid games with the support of their families. Even though it was a wet day, we saw some fantastic handballing and kicking during both grid games. The smiles and celebrations after each goal were plenty and such a pleasure to see. As the session wrapped up this year Footy Stars program, each child received a certificate and a medal to reward their hard work. We were also lucky to be treated to sausage sizzles provided by the Rotary Club of Bayswater, as well as goodie bags provided by the team at Woolworths Bayswater. The entire team at Irabina Autism Services feels lucky to receive such support from our community.
What a Great Team!
For some of our kids, Footy Stars has provided them with their very first experience of Australian Rules Football or community sports program. For others, it has provided an important stepping stone to hone their football skills in a flexible and supporting environment before transitioning to their local grassroots football club.
