Frequently asked questions

What to do if you're concerned your child might have autism?

The best thing you can do is visit your GP or paediatrician to discuss your concerns. Each child develops at their own pace and may need some support in reaching some developmental milestones.

What happens in therapy sessions?

Evidence-based therapies are customised to your family’s individual needs and circumstances. The therapists will help you set appropriate goals and help children reach them in one-on-one or group sessions.

You will also learn a range of techniques that you can use at home, school and community settings. Creating positive habits for the future.

How much do the sessions cost?

Different services have different costs which are now defined by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). During your intake or NDIS pre-planning meeting, an Irabina staff member will run through the Government funding options available to you.
