Irabina is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to helping families adapt to the challenges of living with Autism. For 50 years we’ve been delivering expert support and education services. We care for all children and young people on the spectrum, irrespective of severity. We won’t turn anyone away.

As Fundraising Manager, you will help Irabina to grow and continue delivering unparalleled support to those who need it the most.

You will:

  • Be personable and comfortable engaging directly with donors and volunteers to build long-term relationships
  • Be passionate about supporting children and families affected by autism
  • Leverage your writing and communication skills to apply for grants and other funding opportunities
  • Take ownership of fundraising at Irabina, developing existing projects and identifying new ones
  • Help raise awareness of Irabina’s work
  • Work with a highly motivated team to see goals achieved

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to Irabina’s revenue generation through grant applications, partnerships, donations and other funding streams
  • Managing stakeholders, including nurturing current relationships and developing new ones; sourcing, recruiting and recognising volunteers/supporters
  • Working with the Head of Marketing to provide regular reports and contribute to budgetary forecasts
  • Maintaining a comprehensive database on Irabina’s CRM System (Salesforce NonProfit Success Pack)
  • Ensuring fundraising compliance standards are adhered to with all Victorian fundraising activities and events
  • Providing excellent customer service to welcome and retain donors, partners and fundraisers
  • Identifying opportunities for Irabina to ensure growth from corporate/community fundraising activities
