Archie’s Club

Focused on sibling wellbeing and support, Archie’s Club is a place where kids with autistic siblings can get together in a safe, fun environment.

Running over 20 weeks and culminating in an overnight camp, Archie’s Club is an opportunity for children to build resilience, make new friends, receive support and improve understanding of their sibling’s disability.

Commencing the last week of March 2020, Archie’s Club caters to pre-teens and teens, with a 7-12yo group and a 13-17yo group. Sessions run from 4-6pm, Tuesdays or Thursdays at Irabina’s head office in Bayswater.

Thanks to Oscars100, Irabina is able to deliver Archie’s Club completely free to our Irabina Families.

At Archie’s Club, your child will:

  • Learn about autism and how to explain the diagnosis to others
  • Receive social support in a recreational setting
  • Learn how to understand, manage and express the array of emotions they may be experiencing
  • Practice age-appropriate problem-solving and coping skills
  • Learn how to manage difficult situations commonly experienced by siblings of individuals with autism
  • Discover safe and fun ways to play and interact with their sibling with autism

Let us know if you’d like your child to join Archie’s Club
